RE: Modern Day (Western) Shaman's, Lining Their Pockets

in Rant, Complain, Talk7 days ago (edited)

Could agree more my friend - in fact, some of the most toxic and damaged people I have met - are those that hide behind the label of healer. Healers are like teachers - there are lots of people who profess to heal and lots who profess to teach - but there are few healers and teachers. In many ways, this Westernised surface-level melting pot of spiritual ideas and ideals is far more pernicious than many people realise. I discuss both the light and the dark not to denigrate an individual perspective - but to warn that in terms of the ruling hierarchy, they are two sides of the same coin. Unfortunately, by the time the false light reveals its hand - people will have spent so long gazing into the darkness, that they are going to run towards it. X

Sort:

Healers, Shamans, Mystics used to serve a great function in society. They hold/held a great burden and that is the burden of right. They also hold the responsibility of maintaining the balance of yin and yang, as it plays out eternally.

And they don't even get paid!

People have gazed too long in the darkness and they no longer have the eyes to see.

Oh well.

Yes, and as far as I can see - this has been hijacked by a shadow control system that is enabled by the manipulation of natural laws and energy mechanics - to the degree that they benefit a premeditated outcome. That said, they are fools if they think they can control these forces in perpetuity. As sure as night becomes day - their time will come to an inglorious end.

Yeah, I have had the same experience with people who like to parade themselves as healers. It's all ego at the end of the day.
If you haven't explored the dark within, then I really don't see them as healers. It's a sorry state of affairs really, with so many vulnerable people being taken advantage of.
Always so good to have you drop by @perceptualflaws, I hope all is well my friend xxx
