I very much agree with you on this, @trucklife-family, and it irritates and disgusts me as well. Yes, we are all healers, most especially of ourselves, and I've also found very few authentic healers, or teachers for that matter. I do healing work, but I don't advertise for myself (which is something that I despise). Everyone with whom I work are women that already know me, or those that were recommended to me by those that have worked with me. I live by my reputation.
I mostly can't stomach the so-called 'conscious communities' now, because I can see that it is, mostly, not real. I was very much into it for a fair chunk of my life, and then over the course of a few years, my blinders came off, and I could see it for what it was. It's kind of funny that I live in one.
Regarding working with entheogenic plants and mushrooms, if used properly they can indeed catalyze immense and lasting healing, along with major shifts in perspective. Sadly most people don't work with them as they should, looking instead to get high of escape their lives. Ayahuasca, as well as the DMT source, chacruna/chakruna, both grow in many places on the property, and people here have collected and prepared many brews for various ceremonies. I don't take part because you really need to know what you're doing with it. An actual shaman, not the fake ones who call themselves by that moniker, is very important in such ceremonies, because they can come into your experience to assist if needed. It's for that reason that I will not work with it alone.
In any case, I appreciate you shining a real light on the fake 'love and light' nonsense. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
