I think that's a good change. Firstly because, as you mentioned, you would have needed a long time to rectify the error. And secondly, because I don't necessarily believe that 100% votes have done the Crypto Company project much good when you barely have any HP. I'm definitely not taking myself out of it.
Extending the discount to the delegated HP probably makes more sense.
