Hey everyone, I have always been a chilli pepper fan, just love everyting about them but before getting into that check out today;s harvest, the yellow things are rather scarce and very pretty as well as not many folks knowing what they are, do you?
Here we have stunning yellow Aubergines (eggplant or brinjal) which I have featured before. I literally eat these as well as the black ones weekly, almost every day actually. Also in this pic a stunning Red Cherry bomb Chilli one of my favourite as well as a lovely tasting heirloom multicoloured glass corn!
You may be asking what that last funny looking fruit is? Not sure other folks know what these are other than African's? This is a cactus fruit, literally the fruit from a cactus named: Pricky Pear, they really are prickly and very tasty indeed, once of course once you have managed to peel it and get rid of those horrid thorns!
Check out more Prickly Pear Fruit pics here as per Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=prickly+pears&client=firefox-b-d&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=8n7VOgA7eKJe3M%253A%252CXT2gbRmT0Ek1iM%252C%252Fm%252F025rm5&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kRPXpC1duYvvuQLSbnCm82gCJDiFA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwib1erLxZTnAhWlkFwKHZ9oBwIQ_B0wGnoECAkQAw#imgrc=8n7VOgA7eKJe3M:
I have recently made a page on facebook I call 'The Chilli Guru' and will be marketing to South African's, do check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/The-Chilli-Guru-108567760678952/?modal=admin_todo_tour
I am also on another cool FB group for Chilli Fans: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2156267434646372/?multi_permalinks=2477688412504271¬if_id=1579600104671376¬if_t=group_activity you cannot believe how many different chilli species there all in all sorts of tastes and colours they really are such amazing plants/fruit. The plan is to start off Growing seeds for sale which I have a few nice pods now, then to sell excess pods for folks looking to make chilli sauce and then when I have excess plants sell them off too, not a bad idea right?
I am so excited about my Carolina Reapers I purchased Red and Yellow Reapers but not Orange it would seem these are, only time will tell when they are fully ripe but for now orange looking they are and I am really loving it!
This 'monster' is very hot (not a super hot) but hot and I have no clue what I purchased and grew here but I am loving it, growing in abundance in my garden tastes amazing and is making such lovely chilli sauce!
So I am literally not making much on crypto of late as I am sure we can all agree, maybe this Chilli business enables for Lambo's soon? LOL ;) we can only hope right? ;)
I trust you have a super cook week.
Cheer$;)
