RE: Cry Me A Trezor

in #life2 days ago

I've never had one of those wallet doofers. Maybe I should get one for my 'millions of bitcoin'. I'm a crap consumerist who actually struggles to spend money at times, but I will buy music gear that I think I need.

Not sure when I last used a phone book. Those I saw recently seemed pretty thin. A lot of people don't bother with a land line. As a kid I may have looked up people like Mr R. Soul for giggles.

Sort:

They are really thin now! At least the last one I saw was. Not like the doorstops of old.

I would heartily recommend a Trezor. There is nothing quite like stashing a few coins away every now and then and seeing it mount up. The non touchscreen ones are 50 eurosish and they take crypto so it's a win win!

I wouldn't mind finding a music shop in the UK that took crypto. That would be me rekt!

I remember as a child looking up phone numbers in the phone book with interest to call friends or relatives. Now that almost everyone has mobile phones, the use of the phone directory seems outdated. However, I understand that it can still be a useful source of information for some people.

As for wallets with card slots, I have never understood why they are needed. I've never had the need for such wallets, and I'm not sure they really help organize finances. Maybe someday I'll try using such a wallet, but I don't see the point yet.

As for buying music equipment, I really believe that sometimes it is worth investing in quality equipment. This can significantly improve the sound quality and overall experience of listening to music. However, I also understand that this is not always necessary, and there are many ways to enjoy music without spending a lot of money.
