Yesterday, I was struggling too much while completing my tasks at hand that is related to my freelancing. As a result, while laying on my bed I was thinking about how I should manage things so that I can deliver best in both worlds. I realized that you must learn to say NO and this is going to be the key to the solution.
Everyone has a busy life or a routine on which they spend their whole day. Most people don't know this but they are doing the same and making this their habit. When for an emergency they have to shift from the routine they become uncomfortable. It's like you are pulling them out of their comfort zone and no one likes it.

If a family member gets ill, this member needs handling and care. If all the member of the family help him/her and each other to get him/her out of this illness, would going to be a great experience and learning for the youngsters. So doing this as a team is the best solution. But if family members start avoiding the responsibility saying that they are busy or they don't have time to help in this phase. This is where problems began for the ones who are trying to help. Plus this is also negative for future prospects when they become ill and has not invested time into others for getting well.
When all of the family members not helping then the loads shifts to the ones who are there to help the sick person. Now there starts another problem, how to stay at top of both worlds i.e. personal vs professional life. Those who are trying to help, have to contribute a lot of time and as a result, they are left with less time to handle things of professional life.

Obviously, everyone is busy and have the right to spend his/her time wherever they want. But when you live in a community, you need to take care of others too. Avoiding responsibility means that you are becoming a burden on the society and soon you will be replaced or no help will be available for you as you were not available for help.
One should draws lines for delivering the best in personal and professional life. If you keep bearing the load rather than shifting when necessary you are doing harm to yourself. This will hit your personal and professional life and finally, you are not going to deliver what you have promised to your loved ones and to your business relations.
You might have a different opinion about this but I would love to hear what you think about my observation on this topic.
