I woke up to a chilly Friday early morning (I'm almost in the 5 o'clock club😉). Accuweather says the temperature is 9°C which explains the unusual coldness. But we expect sunshine so it may get warmer as the day progresses with 22°C highs.
On Monday afternoon on our way home, we dropped by the grocery mart across the bridge for some stuff but it was closed. While the hubby was maneuvering a reverse, I snapped a few pics of the interesting artwork on its wall and the three words below it. "L💜VE YOUR WIFE" it said. It's not a statement, more like a command.

This was the view of the wall. The artwork made me imagine an island with palm trees along the shore, and some more islets with magnificent hills and mountains across the blue waters.

But yes, the three little words had me in deep thought. What could the artist be thinking when he wrote them? With the red background, I believe he wanted to highlight them for people to see.

Perhaps he (I assumed the artist's gender) knew that loving one's wife brings many benefits😉 Well, "Love" is multifaceted. It is subjective and can be expressed in various ways like kindness, affection, support, respect, trust, etc.
I read some time ago that true love for one's spouse is not a feeling but an attitude and that one's behavior leads to his or her actions toward his or her partner and the words he/she speaks to her/him.
Love Your Wife.
Three short and simple words yet spoke volumes.
Perhaps it's the secret to a lifetime marriage. The little things we do for each other as a couple, the thoughtful gestures, and the uplifting words we say (or hear). These surely warm our hearts and in turn, make us happy.
While we drove away, I wondered if people passing by around that area noticed those words and what they make of them. The command did keep my mind busy as we traversed the road leading home.
