I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Truly. The matriarch is such an integral piece of the family puzzle. She knows all and is the carrier of traditions and family secrets.

When we lost our matriarch, the family dynamics changed.

I can totally understand why cultures worship their ancestors. I do. In the same way that I take my mother with me, you will always have your Baba with you. My kids kid me and tell me to not leave home without her. ;)

It will be a hole in your life and in your heart and I can feel from your words that she had a most wonderful life -and very well spent.
