Ha! Well I think most of us will move on to another site if steemit goes away. Like Weku, people keep wanting me to go over there so there are options at least for now. That's good because it would be very strange not to hear from you sir johannpiber!
Steemit is not dead yet and it won't be for a long time I think. From what I have heard some of the sites like Weku or Bearshare are not running well, but I don't know myself.
In any case, if you move we will meet again for sure, my friend 😉

I agree that unless the owners try to kill steemit off it should keep running. This year we'll know alot more, hopefully within 6 months.
I make my posts on Steempeak anyway and I also use travelfeed.io for travel related posts.
If somebody would explain the community function (for Dummies) that Steemit beta offers (https://beta.steemit.com/) I would be glad, because I have no idea yet how it works ;) ... but I have heard that it's a function that will bring us people from other social networks.
Because if it does get people on Steemit then Steemit has just started living ;)

I haven't heard that it will bring people from other sites but if it does that is great. I'm sure when they officially launch there will be tons of great posts explaining it.
I do hope so too, because if people come here to make some money with their posts we will make some more money too and the Steem will raise to the moon, just like we all are hoping for 👍🙂
