And they say 5G will make things much faster like on our phones, I don't know if that will impact our desktop computers but I could use a little more speed at times.
My phone does not support 5G and I use it mainly for phone calls. I don't like to type on that small screen and don't do it if I don't have to ;)
My internet speed at home is fast enough for me I think.

I almost never use my phone to ever talk on. lol. But I agree, texting is a pain with such a small screen.
Right, I prefer to have my laptop with me when I'm somewhere over night, but most I like to work at home where I have a big monitor.
