I've read the article and stakeing will create a bigger inflation than now, diminishing the value of the token. Now only a few use their SP at max, if stakeing will be inserted imagine the 40mil SP steemit is holding on. The general inflation will skyrocket.

Vote selling will not disappear, smartsteem and minnowbooster are already prepared for this market, having the offline market transaction implemented where vote selling can be seen by the admins. This will incentive the cloning of those services.
