I don't see any adds on Firefox, which probably means the adds use tracking cookies and the like. Checking the concole:

The resource at “https://www.googletagservices.com/tag/js/gpt.js” was blocked because tracking protection is enabled.

The resource at “https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js” was blocked because tracking protection is enabled.

The resource at “https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js” was blocked because tracking protection is enabled.

Such great progress.
