This is my response to the @theycallmedan Who Do I Follow on Steem & Why - Initiative and it's all about, how strong are the bonds that we've built here with this family.
I always feel very overwhelmed to see the support that I keep receiving from so many Steemians, some of them who have been with me since the beginning of my Steem journey.
Earning is definitely one part of Steemit that we all look at, but when people care for you personally I think it over rules everything else and earning becomes just one part of the whole game. Bonding with people is a beautiful energetic connection, when that happens no matter where you are the bonding remains.
A special bond has been created with many people here on Steem in my 2.5 years journey and it is very difficult for me to just pick up 3,4 or 5 of them for those who matter to me. But again if I need to shortlist, there are a few who are for sure on my top top list and I never want to lose them for anything out here.
These are some of my special Hero's of Steemit, with who I feel very closely connected and I look upto them for many reasons. Some of them have whole heartedly supported me all through out, from some I have learned some valuable lessons of life, some have been motivating and encouraging. Each one of them have left a huge impact on me in some or the other way.
@canadian-coconut - Linda. - She is always on top of my list
It is very difficult to find people like her. The amount of support she gives to so many members on Steemit is very commendable, and the best part is she never misses it. From the time I have joined Steemit, she has been there for me. I cannot thank her enough. It makes a lot of difference for a minnow to get her support, I am always very grateful to her, she has made a difference to me on Steemit. Her generosity and a big heart will make you believe that there are some really wonderful people out in this world. Again it is not that she blindly votes people or puts on auto-voting. She reads the content and manually does all the curation every single day.
Besides this the cause that she is involved @familyprotection is again one another wonderful thing that she is doing for our world. Thank you Linda for all that you do and for having such a beautiful heart. She is a light to many many on Steemit and I really admire her zeal.
@eco-alex - Alex is another inspiration for me on Steemit who one should never miss. He is a person with vision. His #ecotrain community is always striving to bring out the best from the community members. His Earthship ventures are really awesome. Things that he does for a better tomorrow for our future generations and mother Earth are mind blowing. The messages on sustainable living that he keeps spreading and the knowledge and road map that he provides is truly commendable. Alex comes up with a QOTW every week and leaves you to scratch the surfaces of your brain. The topics that he comes up with are profound, makes you do some soul searching and leaves you to wonder "What am I doing". How can one not get impacted by such a fab person? Recently Alex's Non-Violent Communication workshop have been a good learning. Alex is an inspiration and someone from who one can just learn, learn, learn and grow.
@enginewitty Witty aka 'Goldie'- A very humorous person and brainy too. A lot of communities have come up on Steemit in the last 1 year but around 2 years back there were very few and one of them was #thealliance, the brain child of Witty. An elite group which would encourage only quality content, when he decided to add me in his community I felt very proud because he thought that I was worthy of it. He gave me a lot of recognition in the early days by featuring many of my post in the community blogs. He works selflessly for the growth of #thealliance community. Lately he sent me a gift, a real one. It was a very emotional moment for me. Someone with who I have just interacted over blogs has gone that extra mile and thought of such a sweet gesture.
@cryptopie - He has been having a medical condition of hyperparathyroidism and failed kidneys plus many other clinical issues and complications and is on regular treatment with a very heavy cost. His financial support is Steemit where he keeps blogging and tries to get as much as he can. I feel amazed with his spirit, he is a true inspiration. Despite the hardships he faces in life he has never asked for any help. He works hard, makes multiple posts daily and puts good amount of thought and effort that can put many here to shame. I feel very proud of him, admire his courage and the never give up attitude.
@superstar2018 - Gautam - Sadly he does not visit Steemit anymore, but I still do not want to miss him. He is like an Angel to me. Last year when my husband was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis and I was running all around for his treatment, Gautam gave me a reference of one of the Doctor in India, we visited him and with his treatment there was a lot of improvement in my husband's health. After this my belief has become very strong that definitely everyone comes in to your life with a reason. He is not active on Steemit anymore but he does occasionally catch up on Discord.
These are some who have made a big impact on my Steemit journey in the last 2.5 years. Success is not always measured with the number of votes or earning, it is also about the relations that we build up with people here and I am glad that I do have a handful of genuine ones who care.
There are many others who somewhere have crossed my path and made a difference in my journey and I want to thank everyone for being there. It's not that only these people matter to me the most. Every single Steemian matters to me but yes, there is always a inner-circle.
Gratitude is the Key to Happiness and Success. If you wish you can also let your Superstars know how much you value their support, go ahead and participate in this initiative😍😍
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
