Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more insane we have this footage circulating the media which was captured by a surveillance camera in Arizona.
The footage shows the moment Arizona police force broke inside a home to remove an unvaccinated child that had a 40-degree fever. The police received a tip from a doctor, who had previously seen the boy and feared that he could have meningitis after his parents ignored his instruction to take him to an emergency room.
After finding that out, the doctor called DCS which then called Chandler police to check on the child. After the father refused to let police into the home to check on the boy, police came back later with a search warrant and forced their way into the home after the family didn’t respond.
Fox News Reports:
‘Officers with the Chandler Police Department were dispatched to the 1600 block of West Marlboro Drive around 10:30 p.m. on February 25 to conduct a welfare check at the request of the Department of Child Safety, according to a press release. source
Officials were concerned that a 2-year-old in the home was suffering from a “potentially life-threatening fever and illness.”
The boy was rushed to a hospital, and since the raid on 25th February, the boy and his two siblings, aged 4 and 6, have been taken into state custody. The parents have been charged with child abuse.
And yet, it turned out that the child actually had an upper respiratory infection.
Townsend, a Republican in District 16, who helped to get the legislation passed requiring the Arizona Department of Child Safety to get a search warrant to remove children from their home in a non-emergency situation said
“The doctor chose to use DCS to remove the child and DCS chose to use the police and the police chose to use the SWAT team……That is not the country that I recognize.”
After the incident, State Representative Kelly Townsend admitted that this situation was a mistake and the state needs to focus on cases that stem from ‘neglect’ and ‘abuse’.
