RE: I've been using eSteem

Can you also recommend the mobile version of eSteem?

I used it until last December, then I switched to Partiko, because eSteem v1 was rather outdated. Partiko also has some gamification (points that you collect and trade for upvotes) that kept me hooked, but now it has optional ads (which you can watch to get those points) and in general I'd prefer using open source software.

well i'm recommending esteem in general, as in all versions :)
one thing i hate about partiko is that you get the forced message on every comment. if those were gone i might've used it.

i think esteem is open source https://github.com/esteemapp

but anything's fine really. as long as it's not steemit which is run by a dictator.

Yeah, those messages suck. In theory you could edit your comment add remove them, but that's too much work.

I'll guess that I'll give the new eSteem a try.

yes every little unnecessary action is a giant barrier to me 😑
but everyone has their choice. and partiko is still much better than steemit :)
