This isn't one of my usual posts, but I wanted to share this.
I've been posting/commenting using eSteem.
(mainly I use the desktop version for windows)

Other than having to wait for the web version to come out, I'm generally happy with it.
One thing I like about @good-karma (the creator) is that he doesn't seem to have the dictator mindset that people like ned/kim jong un have.

I don't know the guy and I have no connections to eSteem, but this kind of approach is very different from someone who's been trying to define what quality and good people are.
For every post/comment/etc, you get points. I have no idea whether they're going to be worth anything. I'll just collect them.

Right now, you can't check your points on the desktop version so you'd have to install the mobile version.
The app isn't perfect. I don't get the same ease of use that I get when I'm using twitter/instagram/etc.
I shouldn't be comparing it to billion dollar companies, but oh well..
FYI this was their roadmap at steemfest 2018.

A lot has changed since then, but you get the general idea.
I'll keep using it and hope it'll replace steemit in the future.
