OMG, what an insane loss... i remember that the guys at oneup also announced a game that reached the stage of selling alpha packs if i'm not mistaken, but never got off the ground either...
Oh wow I forgot about that one also! luckily I didn't buy in. But I did for the CARTEL token they sold $10 HBD per token, I purchased two. sighhhh so many lost hives!
There was also this token, true, I thought it had yielded something, but apparently it didn't yield anything. It's a shame, I don't know what happened but the oneup project was incredible at the beginning.
The owner in the discord said the server costs to run all the bots and delegations etc was not worth the cost no more from his own funds so decided to close it all or give up
Man, that's really sad to read... I guess if that kind of thing happens, you need a refund or something.
i think it was meant to hold some dividends from it, i did get dropped some random coins sometimes but very very rarely and of course not worth anything more than 0.01 or so 😂 a shame..
It's really bad... well, it's something that happened and I hope it doesn't happen again, nobody deserves that =/
Need to be more diligent in who we give our hives to and decide to fund! so many projects and ideas, but if there is no legit backing or reasoning behind it. I can always see it failing
