Hello to everyone in the Vibes community! Today I'm joining here to compete for the first time in Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week #18, with this being my entry. Taking into account that the theme for this opportunity is Disney songs, I have chosen the song called "Alice", by the Canadian singer, Avril Lavigne. This song is part of the soundtrack of the movie "Alice in Wonderland", which was directed by Tim Burton and released in 2010. It was one of the most incredible adaptations of Lewis Carroll's book (apart from Disney's own 1951 animated film) brought to the screen. For its incredible recreation of the characters, settings and script of a fantasy story like that of Alice.
For this song, Avril plays with her voice to express the confusion, instability and strength that Alice (the character) has as she finds herself engaged in a world she little understands but is willing to face. As you can tell during the verses where Alice falls down the rabbit hole and is transported to another world. Of course, adapting my voice to Avril's incredible register and delivery was a challenge. So I had to practice a lot to get some clean notes, get in the right moment and hold the notes until the end. A very demanding song, but in the end I liked the way it turned out. I wore a flowy dress, some clockwork tendrils and a bit of a messy make-up/look, trying to achieve a messy Alice look.
Finally my friends, I hope you enjoy my interpretation of Alice's song. It's worth noting that at the time it was a very popular song, so I'm sure many of you have heard it at some point. Or you're just a fan of the song or the singer. Without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by.

¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Vibes! El día de hoy me uno aquí para concursar por primera vez en Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week #18, con esta que es mi entrada. Tomando en cuenta que la temática para esta oportunidad son canciones de Disney, he elegido la canción llamada "Alice", de la cantante canadiense, Avril Lavigne. Esta canción forma parte de la banda sonora de la película "Alicia en el País de las Maravillas", la cual fue dirigida por Tim Burton y lanzada en el año 2010. Fue una de las adaptaciones más increíbles del libro (aparte de la propia película animada de Disney del año 1951) de Lewis Carroll, llevada a la pantalla. Por su increíble recreación de los personajes, escenarios y guión, de una historia de fantasía cómo la de Alicia.
Para esta canción, Avril juega con su voz para expresar la confusión, inestabilidad y fuerza que tiene Alicia (el personaje) al verse comprometida en un mundo que poco entiende pero que está dispuesto a enfrentar. Cómo se puede notar durante las estrofas en las que Alicia cae Por el agujero del conejo y la transporta a otro mundo. Por supuesto, adaptar mi voz al increíble registro y manejo de Avril, fue todo un reto. Por lo que tuve que practicar bastante para obtener algunas notas limpias, entrar en el momento indicado y mantener las notas hasta el final. Una canción con mucha exigencia, pero que finalmente me ha gustado cómo ha quedado. He usado un vestido floreado, unos zarcillos con forma de reloj y un maquillaje/aspecto algo desordenado, tratando de lograr un look desordenado de Alicia.
Finalmente amigos míos, espero que disfruten de esta interpretación mía de la canción de Alice. Cabe destacar que en su momento fue un tema que fue bastante escuchado, así que seguramente ya muchos de ustedes lo habrán oído en algún momento. O son directamente fanáticos de la canción o de la cantante. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
