Blue skies
There's been a distinct lack of blue skies and nice sunny weather in Ireland over the past three to four months.
It's been dull, cloudy, rainy, windy and not one bit summery, but luckily the usual back to school weather had obliged in recent weeks and last week in particular we got a few absolutely glorious days and on one of those mornings at 7am I went out to the farm to bring some of my turf (fuel) home.
When I arrived, these horses were waiting to see my, so I thought a series of photos for Hive would be worthwhile 📸
Blue skies and good light just make everything so much more photogenic don't they.
They put people in much better form too for the most part.
Flower
This lovely flower caught my attention, so decided to try a few out of focus artsy fartsy type shots, and I'm happy with how they came out.
As per recent photography posts, less words and more photos here. Afterall it's a photography community. I hope you enjoyed some of these shots though and thanks for stopping by.
Gratitude
I'll leave you with this little nugget. We have so much to be grateful, and most remind ourselves to show this gratitude by smiling at people kindly, helping an old lady across the street, giving up our seat on the bus for somebody older than us.
These little micro gestures and general gratitude make the world a better place and you would be surprised how far a smile can go. Release the happy energy and keep on smiling and being grateful.
