Hello everyone! I believe you're doing good today, its evening over here so i decided to work on this baby drawing.
Sketching Process
I began with a light outline, defining the baby’s facial proportions and posture. The soft, rounded cheeks and large, bright eyes were the focal points, so I carefully placed them to enhance the expression. The arms resting under the chin add to the relaxed pose, making the drawing feel natural and soothing.
Detailing and Shading
Using a range of graphite pencils, I built up the details gradually. I paid special attention to shading the eyes, as they are the soul of the drawing, giving them depth and a realistic shine. The hair was drawn with soft strokes to create a fine texture, while the headband and bow were shaded to add dimension. Smooth transitions between light and shadow on the face and clothing helped achieve a three-dimensional effect.
This sketch is a celebration of innocence, capturing the serenity and beauty of a child’s peaceful moment.
