Written by Gordon Matthew, better known as Sting; singer, songwriter and lead singer of the group, it was inspired by his own personal story when he was going through a divorce from his then partner, Frances Tomelty. Although it has the appearance of a romantic ballad (which touched thousands of couples), the lyrics are particularly "violent" as they describe how a person constantly stalks his or her former lover. En esta oportunidad se trata de la canción del grupo inglés, The Police, con su conocido título de "Every Break You Take". Esta canción fue lanzada en su álbum de estudio, "Synchronicity", del año 1983. Escrita por Gordon Matthew, mejor conocido cómo Sting; cantante, compositor y vocalista del grupo, se inspiró en su propia historia personal cuando atravesaba el divorcio de en ese entonces su pareja, Frances Tomelty. Aunque con una apariencia de balada romántica (que conmovió a miles de parejas), la letra es particularmente "violenta" pues en ella se describe cómo una persona acecha constantemente a su antiguo amante.
