Pretty cool. There's an island off the coast of Georgia with wild ponies. How do they go about "culling" other than auction?

They don't. Cumberland Islands horses manage themselves and are actually only numbering about 150 on the entire island. They usually live 9-10 years, so their growth is slowed down by that. I lived on Jekyll Island for a year and went there.
