The thing with most of the doctors is, they are the doctor and you are a no one so you are not entitled to suggest a diagnosis or a therapy, you will just get ignored... So you got lucky if you found someone willing to listen and talk

I heard that oncologists need to be more empathic with patient and their families. They become somehow a temporary family member that could last for the next couple of years. The talk was nice he explained some details that my parents couldn't in his imaging results, despite of I could access it and started to understand it.
