This is my contribution to #fungfriday contest by @ewkaw
at the beginning of January or still at the time of the new year 2024 I went to one of my family's gardens to harvest fresh langsat fruit, and I was shocked when I saw my garden because it was very bushy due to the rainfall that continued to fall on the land of our city from November to December , so all types of weeds grow quickly and all of them have grown thickly which will cause problems for our family's cultivated plants.
one of my betel nut stems had collapsed due to rainfall and was entangled in vines and the whole part of the stem was starting to rot, when I got there I saw that my areca nut stem had no hope of surviving because beautiful mushrooms had started to grow on it, I had been observing for For some time, if a tree trunk grows and this fungus grows, then in a maximum of 3 months the tree trunk will completely rot, like last year I found fungus growing on one of the large mango trunks and after 3 months all parts of the mango had rotted. and turned into soil, so when I saw my areca palm tree growing and mold on it, my heart immediately said that this had no hope of surviving.
This mushroom looks very fragile and when you hold it it looks like jelly, the stem of the mushroom also breaks very easily and I don't know whether this type of mushroom can be consumed or not, and I have never tried it because this mushroom makes me ill, even though I don't feel like it. I was so happy when I saw the areca palm tree falling, but this collection of mushrooms made me a little relieved, so I thought it would be very silly if I wanted to ruin the happiness of the new year just because a areca palm tree fell, so I immortalized this mushroom and published it here, and Hopefully everyone who sees it can feel the sensation and be happy.
and as you already know, mushrooms have many types, just like other plants in general, because I don't have all the information about mushrooms, I search on the internet to find a suitable name or similar type of mushroom, and here are the results of my search;
