It's good to hear that you found your 'companion'. Biking is such a great sport. It's not too difficult, you get amazing views, you are flexible and you train. It's a great way of transport. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have many people going with you but I believe that time on your own is also important. Unless you feel lonely of course.
