Publicly,
I've kept my name and my face off of Steemit since joining. It's been kind fun to just be a Steemit handle for this long. There is something kinda freeing about being able to write, speak and meet people through JUST my words/voice.
It kinda reminded me of writing letters back and forth to pen pals... being able to be yourself without having to worry about putting on makeup or doing your hair - you know - kinda sticking with the heart-to-heart.
Had I not brought Spunkee Monkee to light, I might have stayed in the shadows ;) It was getting pretty cozy there!
But - if you're trying to bring a project that involves families to a little higher level, then anonymity isn't really a luxury that you can afford anymore. Moms and dads like to know who is the person BEHIND the site, blog, project.
And so... it's time 😁
I don't imagine that too many people will be too curious - BUT - if you are... Here I am 😜 (also.... I am leaning into another semi-anonymous Steemian in the picture... but he's cut out since I don't have his permission to post him! Can anyone guess who???) hehe
I'll be trying to do vlog updates on what's happening with Spunkee Monkee from now on. Will try to keep them under 5 minutes when I post - so you don't get too sick of seeing my silly face. LOLOL
I'll try to upload to dtube AND youtube from now on - but sometimes dtube gives me such a hard time and I end up wasting hours trying to get it uploaded! Hopefully that's fixed now? I'll try soon!
