The Kite Festival is a very exciting celebration, but more of a festival! I say celebration because it is welcoming in the spring. For some reason, Mother Nature has allowed us to start our spring when the Kite Festival begins. Washington DC is a very beautiful place to be and is always with flowers food and entertainment. I live very close to here so it is just a Metro ride away or a few minutes in my car. It is nice living close to a little bit of country and yet having the city right at my doorstep.
