Rough loss by the Mets today but going into Philly and splitting the first two is nothing to be mad about. It always hurts when a team has a lead and blows it. With that said, they made the Phillies work for that win and now the Mets go to New York to pay two games. If they win both of those games they move on to the next round. If they split the two then it will be game five at Philly again. It's been difficult to doubt the Mets this season. They have gotten off that mat a bunch of times and have come through. I'm proud as heck of the Mets and look forward to more great seasons ahead. Excited to see Citifield going nuts when the they Mets play at home.

It is always good to bring them back home.

It's been two weeks since they have played at home. What they have done on the road against the Braves, Brewers and splitting the first two against the Phillies and heading home confident that they can play against the big boys is great to see @beststart

You just got DOOKed!
@beststart thinks your content is the shit.
They have 2/20 DOOK left to drop today.

Learn all about this shit in the toilet paper! 💩

Is this shades of 2000, or even 1986? Sometimes championships require adversity.

Honestly, I love the Mets but I'm realistic. I don't believe their bullpen will be stout enough to get to the end. But I do know that what they've done with this team and knowing Cohen has the money with Stearns at GM is definitely a match made in heaven. I still say the Mets are playing with house money. Anyone who shits on them if they don't win it all this postseason are a-holes pretty much.

I'm a Yankees fan, but I'm not a Mets hater. I want the NYC teams to do well unless they play each other; you know how that is. If either can win it all, it's good for NYC.

=AND(("NYC">"Yankees"),("NYC">"Mets"))

I my world we can’t root for each other’s New York team between Mets and Yankees but I like your thinking. Less animosity.

When it comes to head-to-head meetings, we go with one team or the other; that's just the way it is. When they're on their own against the rest of MLB, I want to see NYC on top.

Just as a NYC fan:

  • Yankees > Red sox
  • Mets > Braves
