This challenge might be too difficult, even for a pro like you are. I do really hope, I don't forget next time. You will be surprised how bad this building is inside.

Sort:

Yeah but all we have to do is hire a bunch of hard working Austrian stone masons who know how to build stone buildings and such and pay them a fortune. Then we can sit around and watch the process while enjoying the view. And the beverages. lol.

Oh, I thought you would be working yourself ;)
Well, in this case I won't let you sit around and get fat - you might have forgotten, that you said you would carry my backpack. I think, before breakfast we should hike up the Mangart mountain every day ;) lol

Wow that sounds like tons of work but the views would be worth it! I would actually be working my tail off but someone else would have to do the heavy lifting of all those stones. lol.

I think, we can manage that, and yes, you are right - the views would be worth all the work 🙂

We could even turn part of it into an AirB&B and charge $500 a night!

Very good idea @janton ... and within a few months all costs for renovation would be paid.
This was a military fortress, and there are certainly prison cells in the basement. Mrs. J could work there - I think, some people would even pay more if they can sleep in such a cell with Mrs. J as prison officer 🙂

lol! That sir, is a brilliant idea! She could dress in period clothing and carry a big sword and treat the "prisoners" like they would have been treated back then...well, sort of. lol. They would pay big bucks for such an experience!

And you would sit upstairs in your office and count the Euros, because we are in Europe 😉
The idea would be good and I think, it would even work, because I have heard of hotels like that.
