I imagine The Dark Arborist as a character who doesn't just grow plants but also commands them. It is a fascinating character because it blends nature with a dark, mystical energy. I love the idea of a figure who can control cool plants like mushrooms and cursed forests, turning the beauty of nature into something eerie and powerful. The design is also intriguing, I miss painting digitally because this one would be so fun to paint, those blues and plants!!
I don't feel so well today, woke up with a little sore throat and cough, I feel terrible😭. I want to shift my focus from that so I decided to create this for the splinterlands art contest. I started with a little sketch to outline all the important parts before going in with ink for darker lines. I drew her facial features and little mushrooms in some areas, I painted her eyes green and added the blue magic ball just like the original character.
