When I joined some 2 1/2 years ago, the idea I was told, was to have people writing stories/blogs and be rewarded accordingly.
The idea was to have a social spot that might, if you were lucky, allow you to make a buck or two.
For this to happen there had to be authors, or there was nothing to read.
Lately, everything has become "make a buck at any cost", and screw the authors, probably not related, just happensense, since then we seem to be heading downhill,
Advance to the past and make it worthwhile to write again, do away with bots, and only allow voting after the post has been opened and read, so you know what you are voting for.
