Everyone of us have our different experiences in life, it may differ from others, as personality differs. But when is get to the hospital the experience there is one which can not be forgotten easily, more especially when it get to deal with patients and workers in the hospital like the nurses, midwives, physician and Doctors. As a medical practitioner there are Alot of experience in the hospital, so when I saw the biweekly prompts topic I was amazed with it because it falls to my field of practice.
Of course there are many experience in the hospital but the one that will be my best is difficult to select but then in every good there's a best. Out of my experience in the hospital, the experience I had when I nursed baby M.D, when baby M.D was diagnosed and was brought into the children's Ward. His Mummy was heartbroken with the baby's health status, so when I resume my shift the baby was assigned to me to take care of. This particular incident happened at my first clinical ward posting, I encourage the mother and the relationship within that the baby will be fine and recover as soon as possible, I stayed for 2 weeks in that clinical ward and I care for the baby, I did my extra research regarding to the medical condition and Ensure the baby receive proper and adequate care. I followed up this condition and the baby recover from that condition gradually and I was happy seeing that the baby was gaining his health back, the baby's mother was happy and the family as well.
This experience made me like my profession the more and the passion that comes with it. The feeling that comes with nursing an ill patient to good health makes it loving and nice to keep working.
