Hello everyone. I must commend the author who brought out this prompt topic, when I saw it my mind flash back to a lot of things.
"CONFIDENCE AND SELF ESTEEM" As a kid I was exposed to public, crowd and Large organization. I do give speech to fellow students and during student symposium I give lectures this was during my elementary school. And also being the senior prefect in my elementary school exposed me to building my self confidence and self esteem.
One thing that bring man down is lack being confident in your self, in most times we having low self esteem bring about anxiety and this inferiority complex. Being confident in your help of overcome most social challenge and keeps you going among others. Some of my friends do ask me, victor why are you always confident in yourself and I smile I will always reply, yea! I'm always confident in myself because I should be the first to reassure myself in everything, And like I will further tell them there's a big difference between pride and being confident in yourself. Self esteem and confidence work in-hand in-hand.
While growing up, I hate bullying, I also seeing seeing people bullying someone, and I try not to do so to others. I always stay firm and confident even though I may not know much about the particular thing, my self esteem and confidence cover up for my lapses. During my days in elementary school, I was popularly known by my unique boldness, Self Confidence, self esteem. You can also build your confidence and self esteem in situation where these are low, you may face a lot of social difficulty when you are not confident enough in yourself, this is especially in education setting, where intimidation are much.

Let me take for example, when I was contesting for Mr. Culture NANSNM NIG. It was very difficult to make that decision, I was the only one from South East part of Nigeria, and my two rivals are from cross rivers others are from northern part, I have no one to speak to with my language,but then self confidence came in, I encourage myself to be confident enough, after the camping and we did some practice, I noticed I was actually doing better than some in the practice ground, then I told my self I can do it, it was Self Confidence and Self esteem that kept me going. Now during the grand finale the contest started and I was doing perfectly good, at the end of the contest I won and become the First Mr. Culture NANSNM NIG.
When you build your confidence and self esteem to be high and of standard, you do things effectively and at else Even in situation it may look very difficult to achieve. But my little advice when building confidence and self esteem, One need to pay attention to the limit and when it is encroaching into pride, and this can lead to opposite part or side of self esteem and confidence.
