RE: Are You Posting Because You Think Your Stuff Is Interesting?

in #life5 years ago

You know this is really spot on. It's exactly what people are doing but you have summed it up exactly. A post about rewards, a post about the Steemitblog post, a post about etc etc. It's too stack tokens. They used to be outweighed by the genuine creations but not so much now..

Sort:

There's no meat on the bone. It doesn't help either when some who act like influencers shit post to stack tokens, buy votes, and offer the noobs a false image of what actually works around here. Noob tries it and can't earn a damn thing because they straight up set themselves up to be the page that gets flipped. Actual content, genuine creations, the links that get shared on social media, you want to be that, not the status message that gets five likes on Facebook. There's no limit to what one can create either.

You have a damn good system. Shit, I won't give away your secrets but if I could start over I think I'd be borrowing some of that approach. At least you can kind of be prepared for what to do next. I'm all over the place, bouncing off walls. Boing boing.

Yup, people won't come here for articles about Steemit. I use myself as a gauge. I visit other sites because the article or the post or the video interests me. I don't visit medium for articles about their upcoming changes and it's the same for the rest. I think whatsup said it when she did that some people thing the inflation to the reward pool is actually their own personal ROI.

Anyway, I'm just a half fucking addled fanny that likes putting a nonsensical spin on life's shit. Lol.

Well yeah. I just did a quick scroll through my Facebook feed. Saw a couple pics of friends. That took two seconds to consume. The comments are always dull so I don't bother reading that. How many times can a guy read "lookin good!" Saw a couple memes, those took a couple seconds to consume and honestly I can't even remember what they were now. But an article from Nat Geo caught my eye so that's in a tab right now and I plan on watching a video from Space X when I have a moment. The actual content. Nobody reads my ramblings about this place on Facebook. I need to stop doing that.

Ah, sweet sweet Facebook. I actually do think it is losing popularity. Either that or because I don't use it much anymore all my erstwhile friends are unfriending me, lol!!
