RE: Why Rewards Have to Change... (Fair warning, this is a long one)

in #philosophy6 years ago (edited)

I hear you. And I agree with both perspectives. Either, either what we are looking for is an opportunity to walk into something without a million dollars and still have an equal chance.

Unfortunately every new platform just fills up.

İt's just a fact of reality.

A global platform that gives equal chance to everyone is almost impossible.

İt's the same with street performing. Six years ago it was a lot easier because it was only the daring. And now that big pop singer from Ireland became a sensation and now every man, woman, child and fucking pet lizard is out there trying to make a buck on the street. Then where there were no regulations in the land of the free suddenly the world is regulated and only 'popstars' singing Brittney Spears in a punk outfit and thong pipe musicians playing Beethoven get a dollar.

So the fucking up of any new platform is inevitable.

İt's our ability as creators to adapt to the change of 'expression landscape' that allows us to push ourselves out there.

Steemit is a thing for a little while. And other platforms will rise and fall.

We just need to keep being innovative, and include this innovation as part of our creative ability, in order to survive.
