This time around, the cosmic title got me at a disadvantage. I have for days been pondering on the angle to explore but Home is a very big word. It wasn't till this morning however that the phrase 'Home is where the heart is' came to mind. It sank so well that I knee almost instantly what I would do. The idea was to capture a family (an home) hugging a heart to show connection, a connection even distance can't break.
I started the piece hatching out the preliminaries like the main figure whose reference I expanded.
After this i hatched in the heart and guaged its proportion
The living room setting is a bonus to show how connected the family is. Ever since i wad a child, i always saw the living room as a neutral ground where everyone is free. If i should go into my Dad's room, i play by his rules, if i go into my sister's, i play by her rules. But them the living room to many extent is neutral. Hence the reason why I employed it.
