That’s what it looks like Cot was saying! He’d commandeered the Amazon box I’d just opened. Perhaps it smelled funny to him, lol!
We began the day at church. Tomorrow, our pastor, his wife and their youngest daughter will go on a missions trip to Mexico. There’s a group of about 25 going. Today, he had a missionary and his family who are moving to an unreached area in Asia. This gentleman preached today. Along with some funny stories, he preached on what God is calling you to do. It was a good sermon and left a lot of food for thought.
After getting home, we set about laying the tarp down for the hot tub. You may (or not) remember I purchased this last year for @silvertop’s birthday. It had remained inflated all winter, but empty and in the garage. Once in place, I climbed in to wipe it down to get dust and dirt out of it. We re-inflated the lid and cleaned it as well, plus added a little air to the tub itself. It is an inflatable hot tub. It’s all in place now; clean and ready for water. We’re going to Sumas city hall tomorrow to purchase a tank of water for it, rather than taxing the well. It will also be a faster fill!
When that was done, @silvertop needed some supplies from Home Depot, so we headed that way. I found some lovely flowers to take a couple of pictures of.
It was hot and the truck’s AC doesn’t work anymore, so we headed to the Woods Coffee House for a mocha frappe. You might think this is the same picture from Thursday’s post, but it’s not! Same pose-different day! 😁

Mt. Baker is an active volcano that is super overdue for an eruption. It would erupt like clockwork every 200 years. Its last eruption was in 1793, making it due in 1993. It hasn’t happened yet. I don’t really think people give it much thought though. If and when it does go, it will magnificent yet horrible all at the same time!

Well, that’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow, I’ll have some pictures, I hope, of our adventures of filling the water bladder.
