As summer begins to think about winding down, it’s becoming the season of the harvest. Apples are ripening and falling from the trees; the blackberries are juicy and ready for picking and I know for sure it’s beginning when Mr. Squirrel shows up out of nowhere and begins stripping my English Walnut Tree of its nuts!🌰 He drives me nuts, lol as it seems he shows up when my schedule won’t allow me to pick them and by the time I can get to them, he’s done taken them all! 🙄 And, so the seasons march on!
This morning before heading to church, found us with some sad news. Our daughter in law’s father has passed unexpectedly. To make matters harder is that it’s almost a 9000 mile trip to get there. It’s going to be hard for them. Please 🙏
Church was awesome as usual and this evening will see us headed to the church picnic. We are expecting Phoenix and if they bring her tonight, we won’t go to the picnic. However, I’m thinking it will be within the first 3 days of the week.
Now, back to the harvest. Enjoy the fruits of my photographic labor!
Tomorrow brings a workday for me. It will be a ‘me, myself and I’ day, which will be nice for a change. Now, if the phone only won’t ring and people don’t need to come in-well that would make it perfect! 😎👍
