…..at the end of the tunnel! That little spot of white in the first pic is the other end of the Snoqualmie Tunnel. It is part of the Palouse to Cascades Park trail which is a 250 mile trail. The tunnel is 2.3 miles long and frequented by hikers and bicyclists alike. They recommend a jacket and a headlight or flashlight as it’s very dark and cool. They also say you get dripped on! 😁
Our son and daughter in law plus Phoenix the grand dog, enjoyed the 24 miles they did yesterday.
Once on the other side, there are many vistas and lots of eye candy. Noticed the trestle in this pic?

Looks like it was a lovely adventure but I’d really be tired after 24 miles! I forgot to ask if that was one way or the round trip. 🧐
It’s been exceedingly hot today! Before noon, I’d already turned the AC on. I think part of it is the humidity. Combined with the heat, it makes things unpleasant! 🥵
I did things around the house today. Some laundry, installed an additional grow light for my indoor greenhouse plus a more high power fan to keep the air circulating, as well as a new WIFI printer since the old one would not communicate with my newer computer.
I also hauled 8 2.5 gallon watering cans up to the garden to hydrate the young plants. We also ran through some worship music as well. It was nice to stay home and not go anywhere for a change. Oh-and I did my VR saber slashing to music-sort of like dancing for an hour.
This was Cyle kitty soaking up the sun through the skylight this morning before the heat.
I guess that’s gonna be it for today. Tomorrow finds us with another extreme heat day and also ladies Bible study. By the time it’s over around noon, it should be cookin’!
