Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started late again, like most Saturdays. But Kaia didn't waste time: as soon as we went outside, she caught a marmot and killed it, in spite of all my efforts to stop her. I was very upset. Of course, I don't want these marmots in my yard because they can make some serious damages. But I also don't want Kaia to execute them, just scare them away. I remember Genepi killing at least two a few years ago, but that was the first time for Kaia. So anyways, she got scolded and punished. Not sure she really understood why unfortunately, but she didn't break the down/stay position I put her in for quite some time. During that time, it almost looked like Le Chat was trying to comfort her.
But she quickly went back to playing in the tall grass, while Kaia finished her punishment.
I then tried to brush Kaia. So much hair! I thought it was bad with Genepi's long hair, but Kaia's double coat is just next level! That's just a very small portion of what I removed.
After finally completing the mower maintenance, including changing the oil, all the filters, spark plug, and even the V-belt, I relaxed on the deck with some espressos of course. It was a rare moment of calm for these two crazy furballs.
I needed some steps for #poprzecka, so of course we went for a long walk with Kaia. A bit late, but still time to catch the sunset.
After finding a better angle, I played with the zoom on my phone, and got some interesting results.
That took some time, and we arrived at the forest after nightfall.
Kaia was getting tired but still wanted to lead the way.
And that was it. A few things done for once, and enough steps to pass the bar. Not bad for a Saturday!
