Hey Actifitters,
Days are starting to all blur together, at least week days. Yesterday was another one of these gloomy, warm for the season and drizzly day. I think Le Chat had the right idea with just curling into a ball on a futon for hours.
Of course, Kaia doesn't agree and just like the last few days, we started our long walk in the evening. With the heavy rain overnight, the little snow we had left in the streets is pretty much gone now.
In the pathway leading to the forest, only small icy patches are left, which makes it a bit dangerous if you're not careful.
At least, some open areas in the forest still look snowy.
But clearly, some of these trails will soon be completely flooded with melted snow.
Since the fog from the past few days was gone, I was hoping to get views of the Moon, that was full just the day before, but unfortunately it was still way too cloudy. I do like the night sky with the trees silhouettes though.
Kaia read my mind and went off-trail a bit, so we could find a little bit more snow.
But when she climbed on top of that pile, without any command by the way, she realized it wasn't snow at all, just tree mulch.
As usual, after a quick stop at our tree friend, we were on our way back home. It handled this short cold spell without losing any leaves!
In one of the front yards, we saw some deer getting some rest. I know the picture quality is terrible, but in full darkness, with Kaia pulling on the leash because she wanted to meet them, and keeping some distance to not bother them, I couldn't do any better. I just thought it was odd for them to just hang out there.
And once again, we added a little distance, and steps, walking in the neighborhood streets. Like I said, the snow is gone and now replaced by big water puddles everywhere.
And that was it for the day. Still a clean sheet in #poprzeczka. If I can keep it this way during the week end, and I intend to, it will probably be a record for me. Maybe it already is, not sure. But the competition is very high this month, many people can still win.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
