Hello friends, blessed day to all of you, I hope wherever you are having a spectacular day, surrounded by love and peace. Today I want to tell you about a special class in my gym where the group of women agreed to go dressed as schoolgirls, that is, uniformed as high school students. That's because this month classes started in my country which is Venezuela.
As I am new and I am just joining the group, there are many things that I am not yet aware of, such as steps and choreography of some songs. As for the costumes, they always indicate in advance what the theme will be so that everyone can look for the clothes and go all the same, but as much as I thought about who to borrow a uniform from, I couldn't find anyone.
Hola amigos, bendecido día para todos, espero que donde quiera que se encuentren tengas un día espectacular, estén rodeados de amor y paz. Hoy quiero contarles sobre una clase especial en mi gimnasio donde el grupo de mujeres se pusieron de acuerdo para ir vestidas de colegialas, es decir, uniformadas como estudiantes de bachillerato. Eso es porque este mes comenzaron las clases en mi país que es Venezuela.
Yo, como soy nueva y apenas me estoy integrando al grupo, hay muchas cosas en las que todavía no estoy al tanto, como pasos y coreografías de algunas canciones. En cuanto al vestuario, siempre indican con anticipación cuál será la temática para que todas busquen la ropa e ir todas iguales, pero yo, por más que pensé en quién pedirle prestado un uniforme, no encontré a quién.
Where I live, there are purely seniors, older adults, I am one of the youngest and I am close to 50 years old, imagine 😆. Since I have no children or nieces and nephews, I had no one to lend me a school uniform. In the end I went with my normal sports clothes, but when I arrived I found everyone dressed very creatively: some with the normal Venezuelan uniform and others copied uniforms from other countries like Mexico and Europe.
The Venezuelan high school uniforms are the ones you see with blue skirts, and blue and beige shirts or chemises, which are for the last level of high school. The others that you see with striped skirts or ties are the ones I used to call exchange girls. The uniform made them look younger than they are; unbelievably, the way we dress rejuvenates or ages us.
I had so much fun that day, the music was carefully chosen at the request of the participants and was from our school days. We made several videos that I will show you over time, for today I just want to show you some pictures and a video where we shouted: Happy back to school!
Por dónde vivo, hay puras personas de la tercera edad, adultos mayores, yo soy de las más jovencitas y estoy cerca de los 50 años, imagínense 😆. Como no tengo hijos ni sobrinos, no tenía nadie que me prestara un uniforme escolar. Al final fui con mi ropa deportiva normal, pero cuando llegué me encontré con todas vestidas de forma muy creativa: unas con el uniforme normal de Venezuela y otras copiaron el uniforme de otros países como México y Europa.
Los uniformes del Bachillerato de Venezuela son las que se ven con faldas de color azul, y camisas o chemises azul y beige, que son para el último nivel de secundaria. Las otras que se ven con faldas de rayas o corbatas son las que yo le decía niñas de intercambio. El uniforme las hizo verse más jóvenes de lo que son; increíblemente, la forma de vestir nos rejuvenece o envejece.
Ese día me divertí demasiado, la música fue escogida cuidadosamente a petición de las participantes y era de nuestra época escolar. Hicimos varios videos que iré mostrando con el tiempo, por hoy solo quiero enseñarles algunas fotos y un video donde gritamos: ¡Feliz regreso a clases!
