In the last few weeks, my mum has been undergoing some control tests, requested by her gynaecologist, such as mammography, densitometry, hip x-rays because she has had acute pain for several months and although it is suspected to be caused by the overload of effort involved in looking after my grandmother, they are being done to rule out anything, and we have faith that they will come out well. That's why we set off together in race mode, in the early hours of the morning, to run medical errands.
A friend and I had a nice mini-bread with ham and cheese for breakfast, and my mum had a small piece of bread stuffed with ham. After the medical errands and breakfast we went to a textile centre to see the models of fabric for upholstery, although my mother walks with pain and difficulty, going to see these fabrics in the hope of upholstering the receipt furniture that was given to us a year ago makes her happy.
En las últimas semanas, se le están haciendo algunos exámenes a mi mamá de control, solicitados por su ginecólogo como la mamografía, la densitometría, unos rayos x de cadera porque presenta un dolor agudo desde hace varios meses y aunque se sospecha que es producido por la sobrecarga de esfuerzo que implica cuidar a mi abuela, se le están haciendo para descartar cualquier cosa, tenemos fe que saldrán bien. Por ese motivo salimos juntas en modo carrera, de madrugada, a hacer diligencias médicas.
Desayunamos unos ricos minipan de jamón y queso un amigo y yo, y mi mamá un cachito que es un pan relleno de jamón. Todos con jugos de durazno, Luego de las diligencias médicas y de desayunar fuimos a un centro textil para ver los modelos de tela para tapizar, aunque mi mamá camina con dolor y dificultad ir a ver estas telas con la esperanza de tapizar los muebles de recibo que nos regalaron hace un año a ella la hace feliz.
The fabric we liked is one of the most expensive ones. 12 metres would be $80, our tastes are expensive, we didn't have that kind of money, so I'll buy it another day. I'm crossing my fingers that it won't go up so fast. My mum was happy, and even though our outings together are for health reasons, I enjoyed them a lot. I love my mum and I want her to be well, without pain and with her heart calm and at peace, without worries.
La tela que nos gustó, es una de las más costosas. 12 metros salarian en 80 $, nuestros gustos son caros, no teníamos tanto dinero, así que la compraré otro día. Estoy cruzando los dedos para que no aumente tan rápido. Mi mamá estaba contenta, y aunque nuestras salidas juntas sean por motivos de salud, yo las disfruté mucho. Yo amo a mi mamá y quiero que esté bien, sin dolor y con su corazón tranquilo y en paz, sin preocupaciones.
