Nigeria defeated Tunisia 1-0 for third place.

In Egypt's capital Nigeria defeated Tunisia 1-0 (1-0) for third place in the African Championship.

The Nigerian team won bronze medals for the eighth time.
The only goal in the third minute of the match was striker Odion Ighalo, who was already fifth in the tournament. This Nigerian player is the highest scoring player in the championship.

On Friday, Senegal and 1990 champion Algeria will meet in the championship final.

In the semifinals, Senegalese beat the Tunisians after extra time (1-0), while the Algerian team beat Nigeria 2: 1.
