21 thousand steps in the fog – Tuesday in Wrocław, almost like in foggy London.

My day started early – I was up at 5:00, getting the kids ready, preparing breakfast for work, and organizing the household. Since I didn’t start work until 8:30, I decided to leave early and walk there. That morning, Wrocław looked like a scene straight out of a London postcard – thick fog, heavy humidity in the air, and just 4°C on the thermometer.

Despite the weather, the walk – including a detour through Grabiszyński Park – was surprisingly pleasant. The air was so moist that my scarf and bangs were completely damp, but the calm and quiet of the morning made it feel peaceful and grounding.

At work, things picked up speed – lots of running around, organizing, and engaging with the kids. After 2 PM, we headed outside with the children because the weather had completely turned around: sunshine, blue skies, and a warm 16°C. It felt like the first breath of spring. The walk home was just as enjoyable.

By the end of the day, my step counter showed over 21,000 – a full day of activity. After dinner, I squeezed in a short workout using TRX bands and weights. Nothing intense – just a little movement to round off the day.

I’m wrapping up with a sense of time well spent. That’s enough for today – tomorrow is another chance to take care of myself.

Dzień zaczęłam wcześnie – o 5:00 byłam już na nogach, ogarniając dom, dzieci i śniadanie do pracy. Choć do rozpoczęcia zmiany miałam sporo czasu (8:30), postanowiłam wyjść wcześniej i przespacerować się do pracy. Wrocław tego ranka wyglądał jak żywcem wyjęty z pocztówki z Londynu – gęsta mgła, wilgotność w powietrzu, a termometr wskazywał zaledwie 4 stopnie.

Mimo warunków, spacer do pracy – z rundką przez Park Grabiszyński – był bardzo przyjemny. Choć wilgotne powietrze sprawiło, że mój szal i grzywka były całkiem mokre, to poranne wyciszenie i brak pośpiechu miały w sobie coś kojącego.

W pracy tempo mocno przyspieszyło – sporo ruchu, organizacja, zajęcia. Po godzinie 14 wyszłyśmy z dziećmi na dwór, bo pogoda zupełnie się zmieniła: słońce, błękitne niebo i aż 16 stopni. Czuć było pierwsze tchnienie wiosny. Droga powrotna do domu również przebiegła w bardzo przyjemnej atmosferze.

W efekcie licznik kroków pokazał ponad 21 tysięcy – aktywny dzień w pełnej krasie. Wieczorem, po obiadokolacji, zdecydowałam się jeszcze na krótki trening z trx-ami i ciężarami. Nic ekstremalnego – ot, trochę ruchu na dobicie.

Zamykam dzień z poczuciem dobrze wykorzystanego czasu. Na dziś wystarczy – jutro też będzie okazja, by zadbać o siebie.
