RE: More web3 businesses needed

in LeoFinance4 days ago

I often ask myself why most people don't save, you know, spend less than they earn, let alone invest in revenue-producing assets. I know everybody's financial situation, but if you make $100 per month, you can always save $0.25. Or why are some people obese, when they could eat healthier food and spend less? I could give many more examples, but my point is the majority seems to always seek instant gratification instead of looking and the real, long-term benefits of things. Hive gives us and our businesses way more than a few cents from the reward pool. It gives us freedom to transact with anybody anywhere in seconds, peer-to-peer, without censorship, voter rights, and whole bunch of tools that are ready to use right now, not to mention everything that is being developed... but I'm preaching to the choir here :)

Oh, man... Don't make me start about that... I remember BuzzParty, Hamburg where I mentioned exactly that, at the Q & A part of my presentation... And the best argument is that you didn't have those $100 at all when you joined HIVE... and you earned them, for example... So, if you didn't even have them, you know to live WITHOUT them, so saving $1 wouldn't hurt you at all...

In the end, I want to believe that people don't understand how HIVE works and that's why they don't power up... But, I'm afraid that they do, but they are just selfish, without thinking of adding value to their followers, readers, friends, etc.
