…….of pumpkin season!!🎃🎃🎃
Before I get into that, the first picture is of snowberries. They are food for the birds during the cold and rainy winters here in the Northwest.
So back to pumpkin season! This next picture was from 2021 when @actifit-lamb made her first sojourn to the pumpkin patch! She was so excited to bring all of the pumpkins home!
The patch where we got these is looking like it’s not going to open this year. That pic was taken September 6th of 2021, and although the family has planted a couple of acres or more of assorted pumpkins and gourds, their bounty hasn’t been set up yet. They always had the best prices. I’m hoping I’m wrong and will keep watch for signs of life around their farm stand.
I had some serious coffee roasting to do today! I roasted 4 pounds for one customer; 4 for another and one for a third customer. I also roasted us 2 pounds as we were out. That totaled 11 pounds, which took up a big chunk of my day. I’ll ship on the way to Bible study tomorrow, because afterwards, my Suzuki heads to the mechanic for diagnostics. I’m sure it’s the ‘brain’ thing again, and am hoping to see if they might just ‘unplug it’s and reboot it just to see if it improves anything. Always something……
I took Phoenix out to the west side of our property for a change.
It’s been cool and overcast today with some breeze. If you look closely at this next picture, you can see several leaves captured before they hit the ground.
A pot of chili’s been cooking all afternoon and it smells so good! I took this pic of Phoenix as she was smiling late this afternoon. I called her a couch pig!🐷
That’s it for today. Take care and enjoy your evening! 🙏🙏🇮🇱🇺🇦
