As adults, I believe we need to go play! Think about it-when was the last time you played a game or did something a kid might do? Probably a lot longer than you think! Yesterday, I spied this kite hooked to what might have been a fishing pole, on the top deck of one of the condo complex nearby. It’s probable that the owner isn’t a kid as this part of town’s residents are fairly well off and wouldn’t be living in this particular area.
So with this in mind, I then spied this family having a bit of fun with driftwood.
They were having a good time of it!
Today at work, Donna told me she was quitting. She has mentioned the high cost of her health insurance (over $700.00 per month!) previously, and she has found a job offering benefits with the insurance completely covered by the employer. Well, honestly, I can’t blame her and I do understand. So, as of next Friday, she will work her last day. The doc will be informed tomorrow.
This leaves me with the doc’s mom and just myself. She has been wanting to retire so I’m thinking he will ignore that and carry on. It’s kind of sad as she’s 75 and deserves some time away from working for a living. I’m not sure what’s going to happen though as this leaves me, myself and I on 3 days of doc appointments and zero time to deal much with admin. 🙄😭 It’s going to be ugly!
