Hello @kemmyb. You are correct. There is a life lesson in the story. Sometimes individuals concentrate more on winning and the end goal than the details of getting to the finish line. Friendships and relationships are compromised along the way. What I think sometimes is that "is it worth it to reach the end" look back, and you've laid waste to the foundation of your life or sacrificed ethics. There is meaning to the beginning, the middle, and the end of one's goals. And who knows, perhaps a surprise at the end.
