Steps That Carry Me Forward/Kroki, które niosą mnie dalej/My Actifit Report Card: March 4 2025

Steps That Carry Me Forward

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me how important movement is—not just for the body, but for the mind as well. I started my day with a morning walk to work. I love those moments when I can gather my thoughts before a day full of challenges. 4.34 km, over an hour of walking, heart rate peaking at 143 bpm—my body was warmed up before I even stepped into the building. I knew work would bring some snide remarks again, but I was prepared. Difficult moments are easier to endure when you know where they come from and have people around who understand.

But the best part of the day came after work. My husband had the day off, so I knew we’d spend it together—and that meant even more movement! I love how he supports me in my activity. We don’t need to say it out loud—I just feel it. As we walked back, every glance, every little “come on, you got this” made the steps feel lighter. 6 km, nearly an hour and a half of walking, and almost 400 calories burned—this wasn’t just a regular walk, it was recharging my batteries in the best company.

I ended the day with an impressive 19,723 steps, 13.83 km, and 911 calories burned. Tired, but happy. Sometimes, it takes so little to feel like, despite the difficulties, you're moving forward. Literally and figuratively.

How about you? Do you have someone who supports you in your daily steps, both big and small?

Zaczęłam go od porannego spaceru do pracy.

Zakończyłam dzień z imponującą liczbą 19 723 kroków, 13,83 km i 911 spalonych kalorii. Dosłownie i w przenośni.

A Ty? Masz kogoś, kto wspiera Cię w codziennych krokach, tych małych i tych wielkich?

I think the same :)

When I saw the title. I felt like I had to read what's in there (steps that carry me forward). I am not a good reader of titles or anything. I just felt that this post is not going to be all happy all the way.

Difficult moments are easier to endure when you know where they come from and have people around who understand.

This reminds me of a question that I came across earlier. It says (when you are in difficulty, always ask am I going to give up to this now?)

Anyway, I agree with. The right company makes a lot of difference!

Thank you very much :)
